Export your GummySearch data before it is deleted
GummySearch has announced that it shuts down entirely on December 1, 2026, and that all user data will be deleted that day. If you used it to research audiences or track keywords on Reddit, the lists you built are worth saving now. Here is what to export, what to copy by hand, and how to carry your keywords into another tool.
The key dates
- November 30, 2025: GummySearch stopped accepting new signups, purchases and renewals, and the free tier closed.
- Through November 30, 2026: a transition year in which existing paid customers keep access until their billing period ends. Free users can still log in, view and download their data, or delete their account.
- December 1, 2026: GummySearch shuts down and all user data is deleted.

What to save, in order of importance
- Your audiences, and the subreddits inside each one. The list of communities is the part that took the longest to build.
- Every keyword and search phrase you tracked, in the exact wording you settled on, plus any exclusions.
- Links to saved or bookmarked threads you still refer to. The posts stay on Reddit, so the URL is usually enough.
- Your own notes, tags and conclusions about pain points and themes. They exist nowhere else.
- Screenshots of any report or view you cannot download.
Raw copies of posts and comments matter least, because the originals remain searchable on Reddit.
How to export
Log in to your GummySearch account and use the download option for your data, as described in GummySearch’s announcement. Open the file straight away and check that your audiences, subreddits and keywords are in it. Copy anything missing into a plain text or CSV file by hand: one keyword per line and one subreddit per line is the most portable format, because almost every tool can import it.
Turn research keywords into buyer keywords
Many GummySearch keyword lists were built for research (“pain points”, topics, themes). For finding customers, rewrite them as the phrases a shopper types: “looking for a <category>”, “alternative to <competitor>”, “what do you use for <job>”. Keep each phrase to roughly 2–4 words. The free Buyer Keyword Generator at /tools/buyer-keyword-generator can suggest phrases from a product description.
Importing into LeadPerch
- During onboarding or from your dashboard, click “Import from GummySearch” and upload your CSV export, or paste keywords one per line or comma-separated.
- The file is parsed in your browser. Keyword-style and subreddit-style columns are detected, duplicates are removed, and the list is capped at your plan’s keyword limit (3 on Free, 25 on Pro, 100 on Agency).
- Subreddit names are recognised but not tracked separately yet: LeadPerch searches all of Reddit for your keywords, plus Hacker News, and X on paid plans.
- Each match gets a 0–100 buying-intent score with a one-line reason, and strong leads come with a drafted, disclosed reply that you post yourself.
What LeadPerch does not replace
LeadPerch is a lead finder, not an audience-research suite. It does not rebuild GummySearch’s audience analytics, themes or pain-point reports. If research was your main use, keep your exported notes and subreddit lists, and use the free Subreddit Analyzer at /tools/subreddit-analyzer to check how active a community is and how often people there ask for recommendations.
